Jaka Pamungkas

Chef Manager

A native of Bandung, Jaka’s philosophy is to create pure, simple and modern dishes reflecting the food Jaka grew up with throughout Indonesia. He creates dishes using only the freshest produce sourced locally and by his own hand. Jaka gained extensive knowledge about cuisine all over the world, with particular emphasis on how to use key creative ingredients to enhance dishes. This in depth learning motivated Jaka to continue to cultivate an extensive culinary garden at Bumbu Nusantara. Jaka’s career has had a great start, with many notable achievements contributing from his past roles. Jaka was instrumental in developing, creating Bumbu Nusantara leading the team during pre-opening and operational periods.

Joseph Gunawan

Restaurant Manager

A native of Malang, Joseph has worked at many hotels and restaurants around Indonesia, including Yogyakarta, Malang and Bali. His focus is ensuring every customer receives the best possible service and her passion for good food and drinks means he fits in perfectly with the Bumbu Nusantara family. Joseph continues to study and to improve his knowledge for the pure love of it and to pass on his valuable knowledge to co-workers..

Manu Khrisnu

Sous Chef

A native of Bali, his passion for cooking has taken Chef Manu on many travels to learn from different Indonesian cuisine cultures in many regions. Having honed his skills, Chef Manu is confident that guests dining at Bumbu Nusantara will be delighted by his authentic Indonesian dishes.
